Iowa men’s wrestling start times/TV schedule released

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Seven University of Iowa wrestling duals will be televised on BTN during the 2023-24 season, it was announced Tuesday by the Big Ten Network.

Iowa’s BTN appearances include home duals against Minnesota (7 p.m. (CT)), Purdue (7 p.m.), Penn State (8 p.m.) and Wisconsin (1 p.m.) and road duals at Nebraska (6 p.m.), Illinois (8 p.m.) and Michigan (7:30 p.m.)

The duration of the Big Ten Championships, which will be held March 9-10 in College Park, Maryland, will also be televised on BTN.

Iowa is coming off a 2022-23 season where it posted a 15-1 overall and 7-1 Big Ten mark. The Hawkeyes placed second at both the Big Ten and NCAA Championships. Iowa crowned two Big Ten champions and had six All-Americans. The program had 14 Academic All-Big Ten selections for a second straight year — tied for the second highest total in school history.

The Hawkeyes open the season in Riverside, California, on Nov. 4 against Cal Baptist at 6 p.m.
