The National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships are heading a few miles south next year.
The 2025 event will be held at Xtream Arena in Coralville. The 2024 championships were held at the Alliant Powerhouse in Cedar Rapids.
Women’s wrestling will become an officially sanctioned NCAA sport for the 2025-26 season, meaning next season will be the final year the NCWWC will oversee the championships.
Iowa won the 2024 team championship last month.
Earlier this week the Missouri Valley Conference announced it would be holding its 2026 women’s basketball tournament at XTream Arena.
