Iowa City police are investigating a shots fired incident late Monday night.
According to a release from the ICPD, officers responded to the 900 Block of Cross Park Avenue at 11:07pm after receiving multiple reports of gunshots in the area. Investigating officers located a bullet hole from a gunshot near the area, but no shell casings were found. There was no indication that any people were injured during this incident and no reports of injuries have been made.
No arrests have been made, and the police are asking the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects involved in this incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Sergeant Jerry Blomgren at 319-356-5276.
