A resident of a local homeless facility is accused of assaulting a fellow tenant.
Arrest records indicate 67-year-old Frank Webb, a resident of Cross Park Place on Cross Park Avenue, assaulted a woman who lives at the facility just after 8:45 Thursday morning. Iowa City Police say the victim approached Webb, who was sitting in a chair, and began yelling and pointing at him. Webb allegedly responded by standing up and pushing the woman, sending her flying and falling to the ground causing pain to her back.
Webb was arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury. If convicted, he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
