Tipton man accused of indecent exposure at Coral Ridge parking lot

A Tipton man was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after allegedly pleasuring himself in his vehicle in full view of others.

Police say the incident, involving 22-year-old Brendan Claussen of West 9^th Street, occurred around 4:20pm at the Coral Ridge Mall. A witness stated that she and her child were walking to her car, which was parked next to Claussen’s, and allegedly saw him masturbating in his vehicle.

Upon questioning, Claussen reportedly admitted that he was pleasuring himself.

Claussen was taken to the Johnson County Jail, where he was charged with Indecent Exposure, an Aggravated Misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to two years if convicted.
