A man was hit by a vehicle in Iowa City Monday.
According to the city’s Daily Activity Log, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Galway Drive at 4:15pm on reports of a personal injury accident. The driver of the vehicle called in to report that he had hit a man with his car.
The driver was not injured; the man who was hit suffered serious injury. His name and condition have not yet been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
