Cedar Rapids Police have arrested a teen accused of making threats against the city’s schools.
According to a news release from the CRPD, a 14-year-old is accused of making the social media threats that closed Cedar Rapids schools on Monday. Police say no further information will be made available regarding the suspect’s identity.
The threats were discovered last Saturday, leading to Monday’s school closures. Cedar Rapids Schools were back in session on Tuesday.
