Multiple agencies responded to a fire at Scales Pointe campground Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters from Solon, North Liberty, Swisher and Coralville joined Johnson County deputies and North Liberty Police in responding to the area outside Bobbers Grill on Scales Bend Road just before 12:15 Tuesday afternoon for a camper fire. Scanner reports indicate the fire had spread to a second camper, and a tanker was requested from the Tiffin Fire Department.
