IC man arrested for stealing cash and using company credit card

An Iowa City man has been taken into custody after allegedly using a company credit card and taking cash from his employer.
Arrest records indicate that 22-year-old Travon Milton was employed at Advance Auto Parts on Highway 6 East. He’s accused of using a company credit card to make unauthorized purchases, and taking cash out of the registers over a period of time.
It’s believed the amount illegally taken amounts to about $4300.
Milton was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with Theft in the 2nd Degree, a class D felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to five years.
