Iowa City Police say a man threatened to kill a woman after forcing his way into her car.
According to arrest records, 23-year-old Isidore Nagueza of Westgate Street entered the parked car of a woman who has a no contract order against him just before 4:45 Friday afternoon at the Town and Campus Apartments. Nagueza did so against the woman’s will, and only left after she threatened to call police. He then allegedly poured liquor on the vehicle and threatened the woman, saying he would kill her and anyone she contacted, including the police.
Nagueza was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Harassment, 2nd Degree Burglary and a No Contact Order Violation. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of 12 years in prison.
