Iowa City Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery at Burger King.
According to an ICPD news release, the robbery was reported to 9-1-1 at 5:08 Saturday morning. A caller said that minutes earlier a lone subject entered the Boyrum Street restaurant, displayed a handgun, and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing.
