Iowa City Police have made an arrest in a beating last summer that left one man hospitalized.
21-year-old Timothy Ryan III of East Davenport Street was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 10:45 Saturday morning. Police say Ryan and another, unidentified accomplice were involved in a feud with the victim last summer. Around 1:45am on August 23rd, Ryan and the other man allegedly attacked the man on the 200 block of East Court Street. The victim suffered injuries to his head, face, neck and hands that required hospitalization.
Since the incident, the victim has reported continued confrontations and attempts to intimidate from Ryan and the other man.
Ryan is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury. If convicted, he faces a maximum of one year in jail.
