Sources close to KCJJ report that the home of Sharon Raffensperger was broken into last night and robbed, taking the championship rings of her late husband, former City High and University of Iowa track coach John Raffensperger.
Raffensperger passed away in April after a long battle with cancer.
His City High teams won state Class 4-A championships ten times in an eleven-year span from 1992 to 2002.
