The Iowa Hawkeyes will host Maryland to kick off the football season September 5th.
The entire Big Ten schedule of games was announced Wednesday by the conference office, and the Hawks will play a 10 game Big Ten Conference schedule.
Additional home games include Nebraska on September 26th, Northwestern on October 3rd, Michigan State on October 31st, and Wisconsin on November 14th.
The road games include Purdue September 12th, Minnesota on September 19th, Illinois October 10th, Penn State on October 24th, and Ohio State on November 21st.
Open dates for the season are October 17th and November 7th .
Training camp officially opens Friday.
