Coralville City Administrator Kelly Hayworth is being honored by the Iowa City/County Manager Association.

The IaMCA has announced Hayworth as the winner of its annual Joe Lukehart Professional Service Award. According to the group, the award is presented to “individuals who have promoted or enhanced the city/county management profession in Iowa, and who have made outstanding contributions to the Iowa City/County Management Association.”

Hayworth has served as Coralville’s City Administrator for 32 years. The IaMCA cited the many projects Hayworth has overseen in his time with the city, including the development of Coral Ridge Mall, $70 million in flood protection funding, and extensive brownfield grants that paved the way for the development of the Iowa River Landing.
