Wellman firefighters extinguished a structure fire Saturday afternoon.
According to the Wellman Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, crews were called to a fully-engulfed shed on the 1600 block of Madison Avenue at 12:45pm. Kalona and Riverside firefighters were initially called in for mutual aid, but they were quickly disregarded.
The fire was extinguished, and Wellman fire crews were back in service by 1:15.
No details about a cause or an estimated damage amount have been released.
