A weekend automobile accident has led to the OWI arrest of a Solon man.
Deputies say the incident occurred on Ely Road and 120th Street Sunday morning after 6:30. 21-year-old Bennett Meier was reportedly involved in a single-vehicle accident, and it appeared that he rolled his 2016 Ford Fusion several times.
Upon contact, Meier allegedly had the odor of ingested alcohol, bloodshot watery eyes, and admitted to drinking. He provided a PBT showing a blood-alcohol level of .200, with a subsequent Datamaster reading of .193 percent.
No injuries were reported.
Meier was charged with OWI first offense, a serious misdemeanor.
