A Wellman man is accused of operating a lawn mower in traffic while intoxicated.
That’s according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, which reports deputies pulled over a Troy-Bilt Tuffy 7 Speed that was travelling down the road near 6th Avenue and 5th Street in Wellman at 12:45 Friday afternoon. 63-year-old Robert Porter of 5th Street was charged with Public Intoxication and Driving While Revoked.
Court records show Porter is facing a pre-trial conference next month on an Operating While Intoxicated charge from April. He has two previous OWI convictions.
