A two-vehicle accident east of Hills has sent one person to the hospital.
According to the Hills Fire Department, first-responders were called to the four-way stop at 520th Street and Sand Road just after 3:15 Friday afternoon for a motor-vehicle accident with an injury. Both cars ended up in the ditch.
One patient was extracted from their vehicle and transported to a local hospital by Johnson County Ambulance Service paramedics. The injured subject’s condition has not been released.
The accident is under investigation by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
