This weekend marks another Big Event for University of Iowa Dance Marathon.
From Friday night at 7 to Saturday night at 7 participants will stand or dance for 24 straight hours at the Iowa Memorial Union as they raise funds for children fighting pediatric cancer on Level 11 of the UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
The event features visits from the families of those being treated, presentation of donation checks, and the final reveal at 7:00 Saturday night. Last year’s Big Event raised over $1.74 million.
