Allegedly threatening a woman who was attempting to serve papers has led to the arrest of a Coralville resident.

According to arrest records, 28-year-old Alexandria Moore told the woman to leave her Southview Circle property just before 1:15 Friday afternoon. When the woman serving papers refused to leave, Moore allegedly threatened to slash the tires on her car. The woman started to walk away when Moore reportedly said she was grabbing a knife.

The woman got into her car and said she would be back to serve the papers. Moore allegedly exited her garage and started yelling at the woman, including reported threats to punch her in the throat. Witnesses say Moore stood in front of the woman’s car to prevent her from leaving.

Moore was booked into the Johnson County Jail at 3:00 Friday afternoon and charged with 2nd Degree Harassment. If convicted, she faces a maximum of one year in jail.
