A conservative student group at the University of Iowa says its Monday lecture by a critic of modern feminism will go on as scheduled.
That’s despite recent vandalism reported by the UI chapter of Young Americans for Freedom over the last few days, including a banner promoting the event being ripped in half and someone spraying water on sidewalk chalk promoting the event. The group also says it has been the target of online harassment after it sent a campus-wide email promoting the event.
Conservative radio host Elisha Krauss is scheduled to give a lecture called “What Women Want” Monday night at 7 at the Iowa Memorial Union.
