Iowa City Police say a local transient attacked and injured two victims with a rock Saturday afternoon. The incident was reported just before 3:45 at the 501 Apartments on Southgate Avenue. Arrest records indicate one victim suffered a bruise on her cheek, while the other had a laceration to the back of the head.
45-year-old Kelli Rehwinkel allegedly admitted to the attack. She’s now charged with two counts of Assault Causing Injury. If convicted, she faces a maximum of two years in jail.
