A two-alarm fire involving three sheds and multiple LP tanks southwest of Iowa City kept firefighters from several local agencies busy Thursday evening.
Firefighters from Tiffin, Hills and Oxford were called to 4301 Sharon Center Road just after 5:15 for a fully engulfed shed containing LP tanks. A second alarm was issued as the fire spread to two other sheds, and fire crews from North Liberty, Iowa City, Lone Tree, Kalona, and Wellman were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was eventually extinguished. No damage estimate has been released, and there is no word on any injuries.
