A Hills man was arrested on an assault charge after an incident in Coralville last week.
Police were called to 16th Avenue just after noon on Friday regarding the incident. According to the victim, she was in the bathroom when 19-year-old Kendall Woodson of Preslee Lane entered. He reportedly accused her of sleeping with other men and took her phone. Woodson then allegedly pulled her hair as she tried to get by him. The woman tried to get her phone back, but Woodson reportedly grabbed and twisted her wrist, causing more pain.
Woodson reportedly left the residence when authorities arrived.
He was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to two years if convicted.
