Iowa Lodge resident arrested after drug sting

An Iowa Lodge resident was arrested Monday after allegedly selling drugs to undercover police.
26-year-old Stephon Curry allegedly arranged a drug deal with an undercover officer earlier this month, telling him to meet at his residence. He reportedly provided 15 grams of marijuana in exchange for serialized buy money.
A second transaction was arranged for May 14th, where Curry allegedly sold the undercover officer 11 grams of the drug.
A search warrant was conducted Monday on Curry’s residence and vehicle. Baggies of marijuana were reportedly discovered at the foot of the bed, and another baggie was located in the glove compartment of his vehicle.
Curry was charged with two controlled substance violations and one count of Possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense. He faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
