A Coralville man who was wanted for allegedly keeping his residence for drug use.
A search warrant was executed at the residence of 24-year-old Montrell Harris on March 12th. According to police, his 10th Street Court home revealed evidence of drug use, drug possession, and drug distribution in room and common areas all throughout the residence. Harris is accused of using his residence for the unlawful use, possession, and sales of controlled substances.
A warrant was issued March 18th; Harris remained at large until he was served on Monday. He’s been charged with Keeping Premises for Controlled Substances, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to two years.
Harris had his initial court appearance Tuesday and was released on his own recognizance pending arraignment.
