A Tiffin man who allegedly threatened some pranksters at his home Wednesday night was taken into custody after displaying a firearm at them.

Police say 44-year-old Joel Randall of Bainberry Street reportedly was upset after subjects “ding-dong ditched” his home.  He reportedly came out of the house and intentionally displayed a firearm at the subjects.

Randall allegedly approached the subjects in a backyard of a nearby home, as he continued to display the firearm while coming closer to them.

Randall was charged with Assault while Displaying a Dangerous Weapon and could face up to two years in jail if convicted.
