The Cedar County Sheriff’s office removed 32 neglected dogs from two properties near Clarence last week.

The Animal Rescue League reports in a Facebook post that less than two years after helping remove 30 dogs from the unlicensed breeder, they were back Friday working with law enforcement to rescue the dogs.

Although the League’s kennels were full, they prepared emergency housing for the dogs and went to work. Veterinary and care teams met the dogs, some of whom were terrified.

A post from the Sheriff’s office said that the dogs were found living in neglectful conditions without proper food, water or shelter.

The Gazette reports the owners cooperated in surrendering the dogs; neither post identified the owner or owners.
