Thousands of people filled downtown Iowa City on Saturday for a “No Kings Day” rally..one of thousands held nationwide this weekend. The rallies were designed to show public opposition to President Donald Trump and his policies.
Protestors gathered around the Clinton Street side of the Pentacrest to hear speeches, wear costumes and enjoy live music.
Saturday’s event wrapped up with a “People’s Parade” around downtown Iowa City.
