A Johnson County sex offender is now accused of sending sexually explicit texts to a minor.

39-year-old Alonzo Perry was booked into the Johnson County Jail on a pair of probation violations just after 12:15 Monday afternoon. Perry was convicted of Enticing a Minor and Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor last year after Iowa City Police say he sent photos of his erect penis to a person he believed to be under the age of 18. He was also accused of sending her explicit descriptions of sex acts he wanted to perform on her, and  trying to set up a meeting.

Perry, whose address is listed as Hope House in Coralville, is now accused of sending sexual comments to a 17-year-old, including graphic descriptions of sex acts he was planning to perform with her.  The comments were from April, but investigators were only made aware of them on Monday.
