A warrant has been issued for an Iowa City stabbing suspect after he missed a court date.

30-year-old Tsean Woods had a case management conference set for Friday. Iowa City Police say on the night of March 28th, Woods was arguing with a neighbor outside his apartment at The Quarters on Highway 6 East when Woods pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the abdomen. The incident was captured on security video.

Woods reportedly told investigators that he was being harassed by the other subject and felt threatened, so he pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

Woods is charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury. If convicted, he faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
