Coralville Police are accusing a man of hitting his sibling with a board, throwing a glass at one of his parents, and threatening to shoot a woman.

28-year-old Davon Bell was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 12:30 Sunday morning. Police were called to Bell’s 20th Avenue residence at 10:15 Saturday night for a domestic disturbance. They were told Bell had broken a board over the head of his sibling, thrown a glass at one of his parents, and threatened to shoot a woman. The glass shattered on a wall behind the parent, causing cuts to their lower leg. Bell also allegedly broke some home decorations.

Arriving officers found Bell outside the residence, where he reportedly showed signs of intoxication. He was arrested and charged with two counts of Domestic Assault Causing Injury, and one count each of 1st Degree Harassment, 4th Degree Criminal Mischief, and Public Intoxication. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of over four years in jail.

Bell lives with the sibling and the parent at the 20th Avenue residence.
