A North Liberty man was taken into custody after an investigation determined he sexually abused a teenage girl.
Police say between October 1st 2023 and April 28th 2024, 25-year-old Het Patel of Penn Court committed two different sex acts on the girl, who was aged 15 at the time.
Patel allegedly admitted to committing the acts.
He was taken into custody Monday morning and charged with two counts of 3rd degree Sexual Abuse involving a child victim with someone 4 or more years older. He could be sentenced to up to twenty years in prison if convicted on both charges.
