Solon Beef Days is ending a longtime tradition.
A post on the festival’s Facebook page on Friday indicates that Beef Days will no longer be offering its steak dinner after 50 years. Several other food options will still be available.
Organizers cite the high price of beef for the decision. Instead, steak sandwiches will be available starting this year.
Solon Beef Days 2025 runs from July 18-19.
