A reportedly intoxicated Cedar Rapids woman hit a tree with her 2014 Subaru Legacy while leaving downtown Iowa City hours after the annual downtown block party.
Iowa City Police say 22-year-old Lila Novak of 10th Street SE struck a tree in front of The Whistler Apartments on the 400 block of Iowa Avenue at 2:00 Sunday morning. She reportedly showed signs of intoxication and provided a breath alcohol level of .169%.
Novak is charged with Operating While Intoxicated.
