Iowa City Animal Services investigates dog bite

Iowa City Animal Services is investigating a dog bite that occurred over the weekend.

According to a release from the city, the bite occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday, July 5, near the entrance of Westside Drive. The dog is described as a yellow lab. The dog was on a leash being walked by its owner and the victim was bit in the leg as they were running past.
