An Iowa City man was arrested Monday after allegedly assaulting a juvenile at his residence.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30pm. According to police, 43-year-old Chistopher Bowman of Plum Street picked up a chair the girl was sitting on and dumped the chair forward. The girl reportedly suffered small cuts to the palm of her left hand, left leg and left forearm.
Bowman was charged with Assault causing Bodily Injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail if convicted.
