A gas leak led to an evacuation on the University of Iowa campus Tuesday morning.
The leak was reported at the Bowen Science Building on Newton Road just before 8:30 a.m. A HawkAlert warned the public to avoid the area as the situation was being addressed. About 15 minutes later, a second HawkAlert indicated the situation had been resolved and the public was allowed back into the area.
