A Des Moines man was arrested after being accused of masturbating in front of a woman in Coralville earlier this year.
According to the criminal report, 54-year-old Oscar Amaya of Douglas Avenue was reportedly at the Western Hills Mobile Home Community on West 2nd street the evening of May 3rd. Police say Amaya fully exposed his genitalia to the adult female victim and was masturbating to arouse or satisfy his sexual desires in full view of her.
A warrant was requested, and Amaya was in court last week to face an Indecent Exposure charge. He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to report for fingerprinting. Amaya faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
