Officials with the City of Oxford are letting residents know a strange email they may have received really is from them.
A post on the city’s Facebook page explains that several residents were sent an email earlier this month from the account cityofoxfordiowa@frontdeskgworks.com. The email was sent to residents who make online payments for city services, which is done through a service called “Front Desk”. The email requires action from the recipient to help set them up on an updated system being used by the city, including confirmation of form of payment.
