A reported scuffle with police has led to the arrest of an Iowa City man.

Iowa City Police were called to an address on Clapp Street just after 7:45 Friday night for a trespassing issue. The resident of the home in question, 35-year-old Patrick Horras, allegedly pointed at one of the arriving officers and walked at him with heavy steps while telling him to get off his lawn. Horras reportedly came within two feet of the officer while yelling with balled-up fists. Police say Horras refused to step back when told, and he was placed under arrest. Horras allegedly resisted and had to be taken to the ground.

Horras is charged with Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations and Interference With Official Acts. If convicted on both counts, he faces a maximum of 13 months in jail.
