A Port Byron Illinois woman has been charged after allegedly using a stolen credit card at various locations earlier this year.

Police say 36-year-old Jamie Short and another individual used a stolen card without the victim’s consent. They were seen together the morning of April 5th at the Coralville Walmart and at Theisen’s running up over $2300 in charges.

The criminal complaint states that the suspects were seen in other locations in eastern Iowa using the victim’s stolen credit cards.

A warrant was issued June 25th for Short’s arrest; she was served on Tuesday and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card totaling $1500 or more, a Class D Felony punishable by a maximum five years in prison.

Short was released on her own recognizance pending arraignment.
