Allegedly threatening a homeowner whose porch screen he damaged has led to the arrest of an Iowa City man.

Iowa City Police say 54-year-old Sean Adams of North Governor Street damaged the screen as he was trespassing at a property in the Longfellow neighborhood on the afternoon of July 16th. Adams allegedly later called the woman and left a voicemail containing the message, “Bitch, I’m going to kill you now. Oh bitch; you’re f—ing dead. You’re f—ing dead, bitch…f—ing bitch.”.

Adams was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 5:15 Friday night and charged with 1st Degree Harassment. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
