Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is continuing to improve after suffering a groin injury last month, but is still not practicing with the team.
That’s the word from head coach Stephanie White, who told reporters there’s no timetable for when Clark will return. She said she began full-court running last week and is able to move a little more on the court, but Clark is not in practice shape just yet.
Clark has missed 19 of the Fever’s 32 games this season. They also lost two more guards, Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald, with season-ending injuries during last week’s loss at Phoenix. Colson’s out with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, while McDonald broke a bone in her right foot.
The Fever host Dallas tonight at 6:30. The game will be shown on ESPN. They’re currently in 5th place in the league and are vying for a home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
