The City of Oxford is warning its residents they may experience orange-tinted water from their faucets as work continues on the city’s wells.
Washing light colored or white laundry is NOT recommended during this time. If laundry becomes stained do NOT dry the laundry but add a product called “Iron Out” into the washing machine and rewash the laundry. Running an outside faucet can eliminate any discolored water in water lines.
