Allegedly stealing a bottle of pop could lead to up to two years in jail for a local transient.
According to arrest records, 32-year-old Bradley Lesmeister stole a bottle of soda from the Target on East Washington Street just after 11:30 Thursday morning. Police say he drank it and later claimed he didn’t have the means to pay for it.
Lesmeister has two previous theft convictions from earlier this year, so he is now charged with 3rd Degree Theft. If convicted, he faces up to two years in jail.
