An Iowa City traffic stop reportedly turned up over two dozen baggies of cocaine as well as various other drugs.

Iowa City Police say just before 10:45 Friday night they encountered 49-year-old Kamall Mustafa of the Pheasant Ridge Apartments on Bartelt Road inside a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country van that was on Keokuk Street. He was allegedly in possession of approximately 30 baggies of cocaine, 11 capsules and a baggy of a gray powder marked “1g Molly”…which tested positive for MDMA, a baggie of psilocybin mushrooms, and a THC vape.

Mustafa is charged with two counts each of a Controlled Substance Violation, Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, and Possession of a Controlled Substance; and one count of Keeping Premises or a Vehicle for the Use of a Controlled Substance. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of 34 years in prison.
