A North Liberty man who was a suspect in a criminal investigation was taken into custody early Sunday after allegedly running from police.
The arrest report indicates officers visited the residence of 19-year old Gage Grother in regards to a crime being investigated. He reportedly took off running, but was apprehended by officers.
Grother allegedly resisted being handcuffed and fought with officers who were trying to place him in the back of a squad car.
Grother was charged with interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor.
