What city officials termed a “severe” water main break led to decreased water pressure in sections of Iowa City Wednesday afternoon.
A news release from the city states the break took place in the area of Clinton and Harrison streets, causing low water pressure for many Iowa City utility customers. The break was isolated in less than an hour, and residents were told to expect gradual improvements to water service over the course of repairs.
